The Dreamcatcher Necklace
Sorry, currently out of stock
The dreamcatcher is thought to have originated from the Native American Ojibwa tribe. A mystical Spider Woman was considered to be the spiritual protector for the tribe, in particular for children. As the tribe continued to grow and spread, the Spider Woman struggled to watch over and protect the members of her tribe. This is why she created the first dreamcatcher. Following her example, mothers and grandmothers would recreate the dreamcatcher as a way of protecting their families from afar.
Sometimes referred to as sacred hoops, these Ojibwa dreamcatchers were meant to protect against bad dreams.
Bad dreams would get caught in the web, while good dreams slide down the feathers to the owner of the dreamcatcher.
Wear this dream catcher to protect your dreams while you're working on making them come true.
